Applying for your Sponsor Licence

We provide guidance and advice on becoming a registered UKVI Sponsor including determining the supporting documents you will need to submit and giving you information on complying with your sponsor duties. The UK operates a points-based system for employing workers from outside of the UK. This now includes European Nationals who are outside of the UK and would like to come to the UK to work. Employers looking to employ overseas staff can sponsor them for a skilled worker visa so long as the job being offered meets the required skill level set out by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). Employers wishing to employ an overseas worker (migrant) must first apply for a sponsor licence before they can sponsor the overseas worker. As your Immigration Advisors we provide:

Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) Advice

If you are already a sponsor, we can assist you with your Defined and Undefined CoS applications. This includes giving you a step-by-step guide on how to submit your request for COS allocations to UKVI and advising you on supporting documents where necessary.
If you already have your COS allocations, we can help with verifying the COS before it is assigned to a Skilled Worker and give you advice on any amendments needed. You will need to provide us details of your job offer so that we can verify important details on your draft COS.

Managing your Skilled Worker visa applications

If you already have a pipeline of suitable applicants who you’d like to employ, we can assist with their visa application process.
We will prepare your Skilled Workers visa application which includes an assessment to ensure that the applicant has met the visa requirements and verifying draft COS’s before they are assigned. You will need to provide us details of your job offer so that we can verify important details on your draft COS.
We will also provide guidance with making the online UKVI visa application fee and assist your applicant with biometric appointment booking (if necessary), along with uploading supporting documents to the relevant UKVI online system on the applicants’ behalf.
You will also receive regular updates on your applicants’ visa applications.
